Sherrilyn Kenyon

Full of "vampires," Dark-Hunters, and battles of the heart, these stories are based on Greek and Roman myths (among others) and keep you intrigued and pining for the next novel in the series.

I own most of these novels and have started re-reading many of them again.

  1. Fantasy Lover
  2. Night Pleasures
  3. Night Embrace
  4. Dance with the Devil
  5. Kiss of the Night
  6. Night Play - 2nd favorite
  7. Seize the Night
  8. Sins of the Night
  9. Unleash the Night -probably my favorite
  10. Dark Side of the Moon
  11. The Dream-Hunter
  12. Devil May Cry
  13. Upon the Midnight Clear - meh
  14. Dream Chaser
  15. Acheron - pretty much two different books
  16. One Silent Night - the tale from the bad guy's side
  17. Dream Warrior - don't think I have read this one...
  18. Bad Moon Rising
  19. No Mercy - just read recently - i <3 dev="" li="">
  20. Retribution - just re-read today
  21. The Guardian - don't think I have read this one
  22. Time Untime - have not read this one!!!
  23. Styxx - bought it before I read it - quite a good one - read it twice in three days
  24. Son of No One - Doesn't come out until next year!!!

Overall, I really like the series. After reading and re-reading most of the multiple times, I have caught a few errors in consistency (my editorial key word), but these do not detract from the awesomeness that these books create in my mind. I love the writing style that draws you in with the expressive descriptions and the heart-felt sarcastic love. While many of the relationships are roughly reality-based the tidy bow they get tied up in at the end really puts this into the romance category.

And... now I have added a new "book" review to this long ignored blog. Here's hoping I can keep it up. (but not likely!)

Current playlist:
Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus
Jar of Hearts - Glee
Wide Awake - Glee
If You Want to Be Happy - Jimmy Soul
Me and Charlie Talking - Miranda Lambert
